I came in to painting at the age of 21. I had assumed that I was terrible at painting my entire life. I was so sure I didn’t even try. I don’t even know what made me think to ask for painting supplies, but I did. Christmas 2016. I put that on my list and I got my first set of painting supplies. I was excited and terrified. I watched some tutorials and I browsed Tumblr for ideas. I got my first idea for a painting, I practiced it, then painted it. To my complete shock it turned out well! From then on I started painting all the time. I hope my story gives you the push to try something new, because you ever know what you are going to be good at! Painting gave me a new sense of identity. A new sense of purpose. I am so grateful and so excited to have this opportunity to share my art with you and I am forever grateful for the blessings

that art has given me.
